Vahideh Imanzadeh, the wife of Yashar Tabrizi, a Pro-monarchy political activist, announced the scheduled date for her husband's trial on January 11 and called for it to be held publicly.

She wrote: "Honorable people of Iran, considering the judiciary chief's clear statements about holding public trials, it's time to deliver on that promise. On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the trial of Mr. Yashar Tabrizi (Akbar Qolizadeh) will be held at the Tabriz Revolutionary Court as previously announced." Mrs. Imanzadeh emphasized, "With the support of all freedom-loving Iranians, we will pursue this demand to ensure that trials for political charges against the country's enlightened and free-minded children are held publicly, with the presence of citizens and the media." She further added, "If the Islamic Republic is true to its promise, it should allow the political defendants' defenses to be seen, heard, and published without omissions.
