Vahid Sorkh-Gol, a monarchist political prisoner held in Evin Prison, continues to be denied medical care despite his deteriorating health.
A source close to his family revealed that Sorkh-Gol had been hospitalized after suffering a head injury and ear bleeding, with doctors recommending specialized treatment and medication. However, prison authorities have refused to administer the prescribed medication provided by his family. Over the past two weeks, he has experienced severe headaches, yet the prison infirmary offers only painkillers and heart medication as a temporary solution.
Previously, Sorkh-Gol, along with fellow political prisoners Farhad Hafezi Semnani and Meysam Gholami, was attacked by inmates convicted of general crimes. Following the assault, he remained semi-conscious for several hours, further exacerbating his fragile condition.
