Heidar Mohammadi, the head of the Food and Drug Administration of the Islamic Republic, stated: "Although the principles regarding dress code in pharmacies have been communicated, anomalies in this regard are reported.

Observing norms is among the matters that play a role in cases such as pharmacy quotas. If a pharmacy fails to comply with the norms, it is initially warned, and if the warning does not have an effect, deterrent measures regarding the offending pharmacy are implemented.

If the deterrent measures also prove ineffective, the offenders are referred to legal authorities."
