Arsham Rezaei, a pro-monarchy political prisoner, has spent more than 20 days in solitary confinement without access to family contact. After three weeks of silence, he was finally able to make a brief phone call, informing his family of his deteriorating physical and mental condition.

His mother had previously revealed that Arsham suffers from an ear infection and a ruptured eardrum but remains denied medical care while in isolation.
Reports indicate that due to severe pressure, Arsham attempted suicide in his cell by tying a cloth around his neck, but prison guards intervened before he could follow through. Following the incident, he was left in restraints for hours.
In recent days, a Qezel Hesar prison official has reportedly subjected Arsham to serious threats, including gang rape threats, in an attempt to further intimidate and break him.
Arsham has urgently requested his lawyer, Mr. Jalilian, to arrange a visit and push for his release from solitary confinement.
