Six years in prison for Azad Pikrifar, a pro-monarchy political prisoner

Azad Peykarifar, a pro-monarchy political prisoner held in Evin Prison, has been sentenced to six years of imprisonment.

According to Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, only five years of his sentence will be enforceable for the charge of "assembly and collusion with the intent to commit crimes against the security of the country."
