Kazem Alinzhad Baranlou, a pro-monarchy political prisoner held in Evin Prison, has been sentenced to eleven years of imprisonment for "assembly and collusion with the intent to commit a crime against national security," "propaganda activities against the Islamic Republic," and "insulting sacred values." According to Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, only five years of this sentence will be enforceable.
