Baha'i citizen Keyvan Rahimian was sentenced to 9 years in prison
Based on a verdict confirmed by Branch 36 of the Tehran Province Court of Appeals, Keyvan Rahimian, a Baha'i citizen, has been sentenced to a total of 9 years of imprisonment, 6 years of deprivation of social rights, and payment of a 50 million tomans cash fine for the charges of "deviant educational or propagandistic activities contrary to or in violation of the holy Islamic law" and "gathering and collusion to commit crimes against national security."
Mr. Rahimian was detained by security forces in Tehran and transferred to Evin Prison.
