Agents of the Islamic Republic have destroyed agricultural lands belonging to Bahá'í citizens

Agents of the Islamic Republic have destroyed agricultural lands belonging to Bahá'í citizens in the village of Ahmadabad in Sari.

The Bahá'í International Community released a video showing the destruction of rice farms owned by Bahá'í citizens in the mentioned villages.

In December of last year, at least 60 hectares of agricultural land belonging to Bahá'í residents of Ahmadabad were seized by police and forestry forces. The Bahá'í International Community stated,

"Iranian government agents bulldozed the rice fields of Bahá'ís in Ahmadabad, Mazandaran, destroying their crops. In January, these lands were illegally fenced off by the authorities. This economic apartheid and religious cleansing aim to drive Bahá'ís from their rightful lands."
